Perth airport (IATA code: PER, ICAO: YPPH) has 4 terminals and is the 4th busiest airport in Australia after Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It is the main entry point into Western Australia and is located about 10km east of Perth CBD.
Perth airport will undergo a multi-billion dollar investment program with new terminal facilities and a new parallel runway, expected to be completed by 2031.

There are 4 terminals at Perth airport:
Terminal 1 – Handles international + domestic flights.
Terminal 2 – A domestic terminal serving Virgin Australia, Rex Airlines and Alliance Airlines.
Terminal 3 – Handles mainly international Qantas flights.
Terminal 4 – The domestic terminal serving Qantas flights.
General Aviation – Serves private jets, Qantas Link and other regional airlines.
The terminals are divided into 2 precincts which have T1/T2 together and T3/T4/General Aviation together.

Perth Terminal 1 (International + Domestic) Lounges
There are 5 lounges at Perth T1:

Aspire Lounge Perth T1
[PAID][PRIORITY PASS][DRAGONPASS] – This independent open-access lounge is operated by Swissport and opened in 2022. It is located in the former Control Centre at level 3 of Perth’s terminal 1.
It has a wide array of stylish seating, business area, bar and buffet with local dishes, small children’s area, 3 shower suites and free WiFi. It offers fantastic views of the airport and Perth’s skyline, particularly from the semi-circular observation deck.
Paid access is available from A$75 for adults (12+) and from A$44 for children (2-12) if booking online.
Cathay Pacific also uses this lounge for premium and elite passengers.
The lounge is located after security in T1 international on level 3 between gates 53 and 54.
The lounge has extensive opening hours as follows:

Air New Zealand Perth International Lounge
[STAR ALLIANCE] – This is a compact lounge facility at 441m² that seats 113 guests. It features modern comfy seating, self-service buffet/bar with dining area, shower suites, newspapers/magazines and free WiFi.
Access is granted the following:
- Business Premier passengers on Air New Zealand
- Business class/first class passengers on Star Alliance carriers
- Air New Zealand Airpoints Elite/Gold and Star Alliance Gold members travelling on Air New Zealand or any Star Alliance airline.
- Air New Zealand Koru members also get access if flying on Air New Zealand.
- Air Canada Maple Leaf Club (worldwide) and United Club members can also access if flying on Star Alliance.
Qatar Airways also uses this lounge for premium and elite passengers.
The lounge is located after security, on level 2 adjacent to Gate 52A.
Opens around 0400 to last departure.
Emirates Lounge Perth
[EMIRATES][PAID] – Emirates has a medium-sized lounge in Perth which originally opened in 2015. It spans an area of 810m² and can seat 165 guests.
It includes an excellent bar and buffet, dining area, work desks and a shower facility. It has the signature Emirates decor with beige and cream tones. The lounge lacks windows and views but it is reasonably well lit and has internal frosted glass window panels.
Passengers can board the Emirates aircraft directly from the lounge.
Access is granted to
- Business and first class passengers on Emirates/Qantas
- Emirates iO, Emirates Skywards Platinum/Gold members flying on Emirates/Qantas
- Qantas Frequent Flyer Platinum One/Platinum/Gold/Chairman’s Lounge members travelling on Emirates/Qantas.
Paid access is possible for Emirates economy passengers – access costs a hefty US$125 (Skywards members), US$155 (non-members) plus local GST.
The Emirates Perth lounge is located after security, on level 2 near to Gate s 50 and 51.
Open daily 1920-2220 to serve the daily flight out of Perth.
Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge Perth
[STAR ALLIANCE] – Singapore Airline opened a new, expanded lounge at Perth in February 2024 taking the space of the former Qantas Business Lounge.
The spacious lounge can accommodate 135 passengers and offers comfy seating, productivity pods, modern bar-buffet with dining area, live cooking station and barista coffee, 2 shower suites (standard+accessible), free WiFi. The lounge is well lit but lacks windows.
Access is available to the following passengers departing from Perth on Singapore Airlines or Star Alliance carriers:
- First Class (+1 guest)
- Business Class (no guests)
- Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer elites – Elite Gold, PPS Club and Solitaire PPS Club (+1 guest)
- Star Alliance Gold card holders (+1 guest)
- Air Canada Maple Leaf Club Worldwide and United Club members (+1 guest)
- Virgin Australia Velocity Platinum/Gold/Beyond on Singapore Airlines flights only (+1 guest)
- Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Gold on Singapore Airlines flights only (+1 guest)
The lounge is located after security, on level 2 opposite to Gate 52.

Virgin Australia Lounge Perth T1 Domestic
[PAID][AMEX PLATINUM/CENTURION] – The Virgin Australia lounge serves passengers departing the domestic T1 terminal and T2.
The facility offers an array of seating for up to 400 guests, all day dining, barista coffee bar, business zone, meeting rooms (charged), showers and free WiFi. Floor-to-ceiling windows offering good apron views.
Access is granted to
- Virgin Australia business class passengers
- Virgin Australia Velocity Platinum and Gold members
- Virgin Australia Lounge program members
- Elite members of Air Canada/Delta/Etihad/Singapore Airlines/South African Airways/United Airlines/Virgin Atlantic flying on Virgin Australia.
A single entry pass can be purchased for A$65 at-the-door (capacity permitting), open 2 hours before your Virgin Australia flight departure.
American Express Centurion and Platinum card holders get access when flying Virgin Australia. This is an official benefit of Australian-issued Platinum cards, though we have heard of holders from other countries getting entry.
The lounge is located after security (left-hand side) of Perth Domestic Terminal 1.
Opens daily from 60 minutes before first Virgin Australia flight departure until last departure.
Perth Terminal 2 Lounges
There is 1 lounge at Perth T2 domestic:
Alliance Airlines Lounge Perth
Alliance Airlines offers regional flights out of Perth serving the ‘fly in, fly out’ (FIFO) mining community. It has a small lounge at Perth T2 for eligible passengers located on the left-hand side after security.
Perth Terminal 3 Lounges
There is 1 lounge at Perth terminal 3:
Qantas International Lounge Perth
[ONEWORLD] – This stylish lounge seats 141 guests and was opened in 2018 to initially handle the Qantas Perth to London non-stop flight. It is now the only Qantas international lounge at Perth – it was formerly known as the international transit lounge.
Qantas is set to operate more ‘Project Sunrise’ flights from Perth to Europe with the arrival of suitable new aircraft.
Given it was built to cater for ultra long-haul flights it has quite a unique offering for a lounge. It has an assortment of comfortable seating, a bar-buffet with barista coffee and hydration station, 15 shower suites, a wellbeing studio with mindfullness and stretching classes, a refresh zone and an outdoor patio.
Access is available to the following flyers who are departing Perth T3 international on Qantas:
- Business class passengers
- Qantas Gold/Platinum/Platinum One/Chairman’s Lounge members
- Qantas Club members
- Emirates Skywards Gold/Platinum members
- Oneworld Sapphire and Emerald elite members
The lounge is located at T3 (level 1) past security near gates 21-25.

Perth Terminal 4 Lounges
There are 3 lounges at Perth terminal 4:

Qantas Domestic Business Lounge Perth
[ONEWORLD] – This is a pleasant Qantas lounge space for premium and elite passengers on domestic flights. It originally opened back in 2015.
This spacious lounge includes a good variety of seating for up to 350 guests, all day dining buffet including pizza bar, barista coffee, work benches, a meeting room, 4 shower suites and free WiFi. Any views from the large windows however are usually obscured by the drawn curtains.
Access is granted to
- Qantas business class passengers
- Qantas Frequent Flyer Platinum/Platinum One and Chairman’s Lounge members
- Emirates Skyward Platinum and iO
- Oneworld Emerald members
Business class passengers on Qantas/Emirates connecting to a domestic flight also get entry.
The lounge is located past security on the departures level near gate 15.
It is open 1 hour before first Qantas departure until last departure.
Qantas Club Perth
[ONEWORLD] – The Qantas Club is a very large area adjacent to the Domestic Business Lounge.
Facilities include a wide array of seating, basic self-service bar-buffet, barista coffee, work stations and long desk tables, kids corner, 8 shower suites and free WiFi. The lounge has excellent airport views.
Access is generally granted to the following flyers:
- Qantas Club members departing on Qantas/Jetstar
- Qantas Frequent Flyer Gold members on Qantas/Jetstar
- Oneworld Sapphire members flying on Qantas
- Emirates Skywards Gold flying on Qantas
- Alaska Lounge members
Note, business class flyers, Qantas/Emirates Platinum members and Oneworld Emeralds will have access to the Domestic Business lounge.
Access is made taking an escalator up from the departures level, follow the signs to ‘Qantas Club’.
It is open 1 hour before first Qantas departure until last departure.
Qantas Chairman’s Lounge Brisbane
[INVITATION-ONLY] – This exclusive lounge has a contemporary design with stylish seats (similar to the Chairman’s Lounge in Sydney), dining area with Rockpool menu, great views and private meeting rooms. Guests get a personal boarding invitation.
Access is only granted to Chairman’s Lounge members (invitation-only) and Emirates iO members flying Qantas.
The Qantas Chairman’s Lounge is located next to the Qantas Club.
