Helsinki-Vantaa airport (IATA code: HEL, ICAO: EFHK) and is the largest and busiest airport in Finland. It is located about 17km north of central Helsinki.

PAIDPPDPAMEX – Plaza Premium Group has a compact lounge at Helsinki located in the non-Schengen departures terminal. The rectangular-shaped lounge has an area of 445m² with seating for 140 guests and was opened in 2019.

The lounge offers the signature Plaza Premium armchairs, cafe-style seating and a few private booth seats. There is a bar and buffet area with international options, charging points, free WiFi and kids play area.

Premium drinks at the bar, showers and sleeping pods are charged extra.

Large floor-to-ceiling windows offer good natural lighting and some apron views of the aircraft.

The lounge can be accessed by paying passengers with prices from €59. Free entry is available to Priority Pass/DragonPass members and American Express Platinum and Centurion card holders.

The lounge is located after security at the mezzanine level between gates 34 and 40.

Opening hours are 06:00-19:30 (Mon-Sat), 10:00-19:30 (Sun).

Finnair Business Lounge Helsinki

ONEWORLD – Finnair has its main Business lounge (non-Schengen) with capacity for 450 guests. It was opened in 2019.

The rectangular-shaped lounge has a wide array of seating – from cafe-style seats, work tables to private booth seats and comfy armchairs/sofas.

It features a central buffet area, a circular island bar, 2 private phone cabins, plenty of charging points, family zone, lockers, free WiFi and 5 shower suites.

Access is granted to:

  • Finnair business class passengers

Finnair Platinum Wing Helsinki

ONEWORLD – This is Finnair’s flagship lounge at Helsinki which dates from 2019 in its current form and has capacity for 155 guests. It is only open to Finnair Plus Platinum / Platinum Lumo members and Oneworld Emeralds flying Finnair or Oneworld carriers.

With elegant Nordic styling, it has an array of comfortable seating with plenty of charging points.

There is a dining area with a limited a la carte menu plus buffet options, an upgraded beverage selection, a centrepiece island bar with barista coffee, private phone cabins, shower and sauna facilities.

A small area of the lounge has windows with some limited apron views. There are also frosted glass windows with internal lighting.

The lounge is located in the non-Schengen departures area, near gate 52.

PAIDPPDP – Swissport runs 3 lounges at Helsinki’s Schengen departures. The compact Lounge 13 is 308m² in area and has capacity for 100 guests. It was opened in 2023.

Facilities include a self-service bar-buffet area, comfy seating, some workbenches, European power outlets, free WiFi and flight info screens. There are no shower facilities.

The lounge has windows but views are not of the runway.

The lounge is located near gate 13 on the first floor.

Aspire Lounge (Gate 27) Helsinki

PAIDPPDP – This is another of the 3 Swissport run lounges at the Schengen departures. The gate 27 lounge had a major refurbishment in 2025.

There is a self-service buffet area with snacks/light bites, a stylish bar with stool seating (premium drinks charged extra), a mix of armchairs and table seats, European power outlets, free WiFi and flight info screens. There are no shower facilities.

It has large floor-to-ceiling windows giving great views of the apron and runway.

The lounge is available to paying passengers (rates from about €40) and to Priority Pass/DragonPass members.

It is also used by elite/premium passengers of Aegean, airBaltic, Air France-KLM, Croatia Airlines and Icelandair.

It can be used by non-Schengen passengers though they will need to go through passport control to reach their gate.

The lounge is located up the stairs near gate 27 – lift access can be made from near gate 26.

OP Lounge Aspire

PAIDOP – Swissport-Aspire operates a co-branded lounge in conjunction with OP Financial Group. The lounge was opened in 2025 and is 810m² in area with capacity for 180 guests. The location was previously the Finnair Schengen lounge which has since moved.

This stylish lounge offers comfy seats, a central bar and buffet area using locally sourced ingredients, private phone booths, charging points, free WiFi.

Services at additional charge include a shower, a la carte menu items, premium drinks and meeting rooms.

The lounge is accessible to premium/elite Lufthansa flyers and OP Gold and Platinum customers. It is bookable to paying customers with rates from €59.

The OP Lounge is located near gate 22.

Finnair Lounge Helsinki

ONEWORLD – Finnair has its main Business lounge (Schengen) with capacity for 440 guests. This location was newly opened in 2024.

With Nordic styling, this spacious lounge has a wide array of seating – from comfy armchairs and private booth seats to cafe-style table seats and stools at work benches.
