The lounge has an open layout with high ceilings and large windows affording some runway views and plenty of natural light. There is a wide array of seating – from the standard Plaza Premium chairs, private booth seats, some sofas and swivel armchairs.

Prima Vista Lounge Portus

PAIDPPDP – This independent lounge is located in the non-Schengen terminal and is run by the Belgian ‘Aviapartner Holding’ group. Designed by Coocoolab/Indy Blue Stuidio, this 550m² lounge has seating capacity for 146 guests.

The stylish lounge features various seating, work table, charging points, bar/buffet, a shower and free WiFi. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer good lighting.

Paid access is available for €40-€45 and entry is granted to Priority Pass and DragonPass members.

The lounge is located airside in the non-Schengen departures section, on the ground floor close to gates E51-E61.

ITA Airways Lounge at Rome Fiumicino (Piazza Di Spagna Lounge)

ITA AIRWAYS – This is ITA Airways’ premium lounge offering at the non-Schengen departures of Rome Fiumicino. The spacious 1,000m² lounge has capacity for 283 guests and was opened in 2022.

Lounge facilities include a decent bar and buffet with very good food offering (including pizzas), barista coffee, dining area and comfortable armchair seating. There is free WiFi, digital newsstand and a bathroom with shower available.

ITA Airways left Skyteam after its acquisition by Lufthansa. It will join Star Alliance in 2026 when presumably the lounge will be accessible to Star Alliance elites.

Access is currently available to ITA Airways and Lufthansa Group airlines elite and premium passengers.

The lounge is located in departure Terminal 3 (after security), near boarding area A and E.

Open 06:00-23:00 daily.

British Airways Club Lounge at Rome Fiumicino

ONEWORLD – BA opened its classy 460m² lounge at Rome FCO in 2018 with seating for up to 140 passengers.

This contemporary lounge features a a central black-coloured bar and a number of different areas with wooden dividers. It has cafe-style seating, more comfortable armchairs and business work tables. There are large windows on one side giving apron views and some good natural light.

It is open to British Airways Club Europe (business class) passengers.

Access is also possible to BA Premier, BA Executive Club Gold/Silver card holders and Oneworld Emerald/Sapphire members flying BA or Oneworld.

EMIRATES – Emirates has a large 950m² lounge at Rome FCO seating 162 guests to handle its twice daily flights to Dubai.

It includes an excellent bar and buffet, dining area, business area, prayer room and shower facilities. It has the signature Emirates decor with beige and cream tones. Large windows offer good natural lighting and views.

Access is granted to business and first class passengers on Emirates. Entry is also available to Emirates iO, Emirates Skywards Platinum/Gold and Qantas Frequent Flyer Platinum One/Platinum/Gold or Chairman’s Lounge members travelling on Emirates.

Paid access is possible for Emirates economy passengers only – access costs a hefty US$125 (Skywards members), US$155 (non-members) plus local GST.

Plaza Premium First Lounge

PAID – In December 2025 Plaza Premium Group opened a First-branded lounge at Rome Fiumicino T1, the first of its kind in Europe following a roll out in various Asian cities.

The 700m² lounge seats 115 passengers. It features a Primo dining room with a la carte menu of local dishes, Aero bar with signature cocktails, elegant seating area, children’s area, private meeting rooms and shower facilities.

Curated art installations, regular DJ performances and private suites elevate the lounge above the usual airport offerings.

Paid entry is possible with a price at €70 for 2 hours.

Located on the mezzanine level near gates A31-A52.

Prima Vista Domus Lounge

PAIDPPDP – The Prima Vista Domus lounge in the Schengen terminal is run by Aviapartner Holding and has capacity for 130 guests.

There is a variety of seating available – from armchairs, private booth spaces, high stools and work tables. The bar/buffet area includes barista coffee. There is free WiFi and some charging points.

Note, the lounge does not have external windows and there are no shower facilities.

The lounge is located airside in the Schengen area departures, on the mezzanine level near the food courts (gates A11-A86).

Prima Vista Lounge

PAIDPPDP – The new Prima Vista lounge at T1 opened in August 2025. It is eventually planned to replace the Domus lounge but currently both lounges are open.

The lounge is slightly more spacious at 610m² with an open feel and plenty of natural light thanks to the large windows. You can choose between a variety of seats whether comfy armchairs of high stools on workbenches.

There is a centrepiece bar serving barista coffee, a food buffet, relaxation room, meeting areas, charging points and free WiFi. Shower facilities are available.

Paid access is available for around €40 and entry is granted to Priority Pass and DragonPass members.

PrimeClass Lounge

PAIDPPDP – This compact 410m² lounge opened in 2023 and is run by Turkish group TAV Operation Services.

ITA Airways Lounge at Rome Fiumicino (Hangar Lounge)

ITA AIRWAYS – The ITA Airways lounge for Schengen departures at Rome Fiumicino opened in 2023. At 980m² it is quite spacious and has 150 seats – the lounge is undergoing minor renovation in late 2025.

Lounge facilities include a visual installation with 72 tablets, centrepiece bar, buffet with good Italian food offering, barista coffee and an array of designer seating. There is free WiFi, private booths, a digital newsstand and a bathroom with showers.

There is a VIP meeting room available which is free for Executive members of the airline’s Volare program.

ITA Airways left Skyteam after its acquisition by Lufthansa. It will join Star Alliance in 2026 when presumably the lounge will be accessible to Star Alliance elites.

HelloSky Lounge

PAIDDP – HelloSky is an arrivals lounge located near the parking area of T3 and easily walkable from either terminal. It is the only arrivals lounge at Rome Fiumicino.

HelloSky is jointly run by Aeroporti di Roma and Gestió i Serveis Trade Center. This 1,200m² facility opened in 2017 and also contains Air Rooms, 29 rooms available for short stays and premium showers. Book air rooms at HelloSky
