Adelaide International airport (IATA code: ADL, ICAO: YPAD) has a single terminal and is the 5th busiest airport in Australia. It is located about 6km west of Adelaide CBD, adjacent to the suburb of West Beach.

Plaza Premium Lounge (International Departures) Adelaide
PAIDPPAMEX – Plaza Premium Group has a small 532m² lounge seating 137 passengers in the international departures wing at Adelaide.
It offers bright, contemporary decor, comfortable seating with a few booth-like seats, free WiFi, a bar with barista coffee, dining area and shower facilities.
Large windows bring in plenty of natural night though views are of the external part of the airport. There is a special wine corridor display after the entrance promoting South Australian wines.
The lounge is available to paying passengers (from A$50 for 3 hours), Priority Pass members and American Express Platinum and Centurion card holders.
Premium passengers of Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines also get access.
The lounge is located in the international departures section past security.

Plaza Premium Lounge (Domestic Departures) Adelaide
PAIDPPDPAMEX – Plaza Premium Group opened its first Australian domestic lounge at Adelaide in October 2025.This very compact space has capacity for 60 guests. It has a hot/cold food buffet which includes pizza, a tended bar with barista coffee, mainly cafe-style seating and free WiFi. Note there are no bathroom or shower facilities.

The lounge has good natural lighting with floor-to-ceiling windows giving views of the airport buildings.
Paid entry is charged at A$29 for a lite package (2 hours lounge access, food/drinks excluding any alcohol) or A$49 for the standard package which includes alcoholic drinks.
Access is also granted to Priority Pass/DragonPass members and American Express Platinum/Centurion card holders.
The lounge is located airside near gate 16.
Opening hours are 05:00-20:00 daily.

Qantas Club Adelaide
ONEWORLD – The new Qantas Lounge Precinct at Adelaide airport opened in May 2025. This included the new Qantas Domestic Business Lounge and a total refurbishment of the Qantas Club and Chairman’s Lounge.
The new Qantas Club opened in November 2024 and is for now likely the best Qantas Club in Australia.
It offers the following facilities: designer furniture, a long bar with premium South Australian wine and beer, buffet menu, barista coffee, children’s corner, work area with desk spaces, more charging points, showers and free WiFi. Large windows afford some views of the apron.
Access is granted to the following passengers:
- Business Class and First Class passengers flying Qantas, Emirates, Air New Zealand, Cathay Pacific, Fiji Airways, Qatar Airways.
- Qantas Frequent Flyer Gold/Platinum/Platinum One members.
- Qantas Club members flying on Qantas, Emirates or Jetstar.
- Emirates Skywards Gold/Platinum and iO flying Qantas or Emirates.
- Air New Zealand Airpoints Elite/Gold flying Air New Zealand.
- Alaska Lounge members and Alaska MVP Gold/Gold 75K members.
First and business class passengers on Qantas/Emirates connecting to a domestic flight also get entry.
The Qantas Club is located at Departures level opposite gate 21.
It is open 1 hour before first Qantas departure until last departure.
Qantas Domestic Business Lounge
ONEWORLD – Qantas opened a new domestic business lounge at Adelaide airport in May 2025.

The 190 seat lounge spans a spacious 1,016m² in area. It features locally-sourced furniture, comfortable seating with plenty of charging points (including USB-A/C and wireless charging mats), exterior views of the airport and a blown glass light installation from Adelaide gallery the JamFactory.
A Market Kitchen with live cooking station serves local fare inspired by Adelaide Central Markets and the drinks offering is good with barista coffee, South Australia wines and a hydration station.
There are bathroom facilities with 4 shower suites.
Access is granted to Qantas business class passengers, Qantas Frequent Flyer Platinum/Platinum One and Chairman’s Lounge members, Emirates Skywards Platinum and iO and Oneworld Emerald members.
Access is also available for Air New Zealand premium passengers.
For the time being this is likely the best domestic business lounge in the Qantas network.
The Qantas Domestic Business lounge is located at departures level, opposite gate 21.
It is open 1 hour before first Qantas departure until last departure.
Qantas Chairman’s Lounge Adelaide
INVITATION – This small lounge has comfortable partitioned seating, a buffet station and some apron views. It perhaps lacks the exclusive feel of the Chairman’s Lounges in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.Access is normally only granted to Chairman’s Lounge members (invitation-only) and Emirates iO members.
The Qantas Chairman’s Lounge is located next to the Qantas Club.
Virgin Australia Lounge Adelaide
VIRGIN AUSTRALIAAMEX – This is a mid-sized lounge at 1,097m² in area seating 283 guests. It opened in 2021 following a complete refurbishment and has a fresh, contemporary design. It is flooded by natural light from large floor-to-ceiling windows.
It offers a barista coffee bar which becomes a wine bar in the evening, a wide array of seating and table options in different themed zones, ‘Library’ workspace area, showers and free WiFi.

Access is granted to the following passengers:
- Virgin Australia and Qatar Airways business class passengers
- Virgin Australia Velocity Platinum and Gold members
- Virgin Australia Lounge program members.
- Elite members of Air Canada/Delta/Etihad/Singapore Airlines/South African Airways/United Airlines/Virgin Atlantic flying on Virgin Australia.
- A single entry pass can be purchased for A$65 at-the-door (capacity permitting), open 2 hours before your Virgin Australia flight departure. Child passes (2-17) cost A$45.
- American Express Centurion and Platinum card holders get access when flying Virgin Australia. This is an official benefit of Australian-issued Platinum cards, though we have heard of holders from other countries getting entry.
The lounge is located at domestic departures level opposite gate 15.
Open daily from 60 minutes before first Virgin Australia flight departure until last departure – around 05:00-22:30.
Regional Express Lounge
REXPP – The very compact Rex Lounge is available to business passengers of Australian domestic airline Regional Express. Note that REX went into administration in July 2024 but its regional operations continue.The Rex lounge offers light snacks/drinks, a small business station, massage chair, TV and free WiFi. Alcoholic drinks are only made available after 15:00. There are no bathroom facilities.
Entrance is granted to passengers who pay the A$33 entrance fee, 50% off for those on Flex fares. The airline also sells an annual Rex Lounge membership for A$329 – this also requires members to give their fingerprints and use a 4 digit access code.
Priority Pass members also get free access.
The Regional Express lounge in Adelaide is located past security at gate 10.
Open 05:00-19:00 (Mon-Fri), 05:00-13:30 (Sat) and 07:00-19:00 (Sun).
