London Stansted Airport (IATA code: STN, ICAO: EGSS) has a single terminal and is the fourth busiest airport in the UK. It is located in the county of Essex some 47 km (29 miles) northeast of central London.
London Stansted is operated by Manchester Airports Group (MAG) and is the largest base for no-frills airline Ryanair.

Escape Lounge London Stansted
PAIDPPDP – The Escape Lounge at Stansted opened back in 2015. Escape Lounges are run by the airport operator Manchester Airport Group (MAG).
The Escape lounge at Stansted includes comfortable seating, complimentary food and drinks, newspapers/magazines and dedicated work spaces. There are windows on one side with some limited views and free WiFi is available.
There are no shower facilities.
Paid entrance is available from £39.99 for by booking online in advance whilst the walk-in price is £49. Access is available from 3 hours prior to departure.
Free entry is granted to Priority Pass and DragonPass holders subject to availability – pre-booking for a guaranteed entry can be done for £6.
After security, follow signs to the Escape lounge, walking beyond Pret A Manger.

Emirates Lounge London Stansted
EMIRATES – The Gulf carrier opened its Stansted lounge in September 2024, making it the 6th lounge in its UK network. It serves its Stansted premium passengers for the 2x daily flights to Dubai which depart in the afternoon and evening.
This is a spacious 900m² lounge which can handle 125 passengers.
The lounge features the signature Emirates beige and cream decor found in many of its lounges. It has a high quality hot/cold food buffet and bar area with locally-sourced food in partnership with Sussex-based Full Circles Farms.
Premium drinks and spirits are on offer including Moet & Chandon champagne.
There are also shower facilities, a business area and free WiFi. Large windows flood the lounge with light and provide excellent airport views.
Access is granted to first and business class Emirates passengers plus Emirates IO, Emirates Skywards Platinum/Gold members and Qantas Frequent Flyer Platinum One/Platinum/Gold flying on Emirates.
Paid access is possible for Emirates economy passengers. Lounge entrance costs a hefty $125 (Skywards members), $155 (non-members). At current exchange rates that is approximately £100 and £125 respectively.
The lounge is located at the departure gates of Satellite 1 – a short walk to boarding.
Open daily 10:00-14:00 and 16:00-20:00.
