Dubai International airport (IATA code: DXB, ICAO: OMDB) has 3 terminals and is the 2nd busiest airport in the world with over 90 million annual passengers. The airport is located just 5km east of Dubai city centre.

In the future operations will transfer to the Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) which is further out of the city.

Ahlan Business Class Lounge Dubai T1

PAIDPPDP – The Ahlan Business lounge is run by the airport’s Dubai International Hotel and can accommodate 177 guests.

The lounge offers partitioned areas with comfortable seating, very good self-service buffet with hot and cold options and a tended bar with spirits and wine.

Facilities include a small business centre, kids area, flight screens, a smoking cubicle, prayer rooms, magazines and digital newspapers, free WiFi, showers and massage chairs.

Frosted internal windows give some light.

Ahlan First Class Lounge Dubai T1

PAIDPPDP – The Ahlan First Class lounge is run by the airport’s Dubai International Hotel and can accommodate 156 guests. It is effectively a slightly upgraded version of the sister Ahlan Business Class lounge.

The lounge offers comfortable seating, a very good self-service buffet with a la carte options from a live cooking station and a tended bar with spirits and wine.

Facilities include a kids area, flight screens, a smoking cubicle, prayer rooms, magazines and digital newspapers, free WiFi, showers and massage chairs. Sleeping rooms and spa treatments are both available at extra charge.

Marhaba Lounge Dubai Terminal 1

PAIDPPDP – dnata (Emirates Group) runs 5 airport lounges under the Marhaba brand at Dubai. These are open to any paying passengers. The T1 lounge was opened in 2016.

The Marhaba lounge at DXB T1 offers comfortable armchair seating, international hot/cold buffet, bar with soft drinks, juices, wines and spirits, smoking area, kids room, free WiFi and magazines.

There is a partitioned area which is only accessible to passengers from selected airlines.

Showers facilities and sleeping room are available for an extra charge. The T1 lounge has limited natural light but one side has internal windows overlooking the terminal.

Paid lounge access is possible with prices from USD 54 (4 hours) to USD 109 (8 hours). There are slightly reduced rates for children aged 2-12, with those 0-1 admitted free.

The lounge is also open for Priority Pass and DragonPass members.

The Marhaba lounge at Dubai T1 is located upstairs on the first floor, accessible by lifts or escalator.

British Airways Lounge Dubai

ONEWORLD – British Airways opened its Dubai lounge in September 2025 under the new ‘global lounge concept’ which is replacing the previous Galleries’ branding.

The compact and intimate lounge space spans around 535m² and features both British and middle-Eastern design features – sweeping arches, metal panels and mirrored walls, seating with British heritage fabrics.

The lounge has a self-service dinging area and signature bar, an array of seats from sofas and armchairs, barstools and cafe-style seats and benches.

There is a separate Concorde Room with a la carte dining menu and private booth seating.

Access to the BA lounge at Dubai International is for:

  • Club (business class) or First (first class) passengers
  • Gold and Silver BA Executive Club members
  • Oneworld Sapphire and Emerald elite members

The Concorde Room is open for First Class passengers, BA Club Gold Guest List and Premier passengers.

BA has up to 2x daily flights between London Heathrow and Dubai with the Airbus A380 and Boeing 787 used.

The lounge is located past security and duty free shops. It is on the first floor, accessible by lifts or escalator, near the Gulf Air lounge.

Open 06:30-13:00, 20:30-02:00.

Lufthansa Lounges Dubai

STAR ALLIANCEAMEX – Lufthansa has a compact 514m² dual lounge facility for Lufthansa premium passengers and Star Alliance elite members at Dubai T1 Concourse D. The lounges opened in 2016 and the Senator Lounge is slightly larger than the Business Lounge.

The lounges feature the standard Lufthansa decor and furniture with comfortable armchair and sofa seating, bar-buffet area with cafe-style table seats, luggage lockers, work benches with stool seats, power outlets and free WiFi.

Windows give internal views of the terminal. One wall has the Lufthansa signature backlit photo of forest scenes. There are shower facilities located in the Business lounge.

The Business lounge is accessible to Lufthansa/Star Alliance premium and elite passengers.

American Express Platinum card holders get free entrance to the Business lounge (if flying Lufthansa/Austrian/SWISS economy) or the Senator lounge (if flying Lufthansa/Austrian/SWISS business).

The Senator lounge can be accessed by Lufthansa Group First and Business class passengers, Miles&More HON Circle/Senators and Star Alliance Gold card holders.

The lounge is located past security and duty free shops. It is on the first floor, accessible by lifts or escalator.

Skyteam Lounge Dubai

SKYTEAMPP – The Dubai Skyteam lounge is operated by Marhaba and is 960m² in area seating 180 guests. The lounge was opened in 2016.

Facilities include a self-service buffet with international dishes, a self-service bar, comfortable seating with ample charging points, kids room, VIP room and free WiFi. The lounge is decorated in the style of other Skyteam lounges with light colours, curved wooden accents and a plant wall.

The lounge also has 2 shower suites available.

Access is granted to:

  • First and business class on a same-day flight departure with a Skyteam airline.
  • Skyteam Elite Plus members can access if flying on a same-day departure on Skyteam in any class.
  • Priority Pass members.

The lounge is located past security and duty free shops. It is on the first floor, accessible by lifts or escalator.

Gulf Air Falcon Lounge

GULF AIR – Gulf Air has a compact Falcon lounge at Dubai International.

The lounge has a decent self-service hot and cold buffet, soft and alcoholic drinks, workstation area, storage room, prayer room and smoking area. Note this is a windowless lounge with no natural light.

There are armchair style seats and seating with tables in Gulf’s cream and blue colours.

The Gulf Air lounge is open to:

  • Business class passengers on Gulf Air.
  • Black, Gold and Silver Falconflyer card holders.

The lounge is located past security and duty free shops. It is on the first floor, accessible by lifts or escalator, near the British Airways lounge.

Marhaba Lounge Dubai Terminal 2

PAIDPPDP – dnata (Emirates Group) runs 5 airport lounges under the Marhaba brand at Dubai. These are open to any paying passengers. The T2 lounge was opened in 2013.

The compact Marhaba lounge at DXB T2 offers international hot/cold buffet, bar with soft drinks, juices, wines and spirits, smoking area, free WiFi and magazines. Note, the T2 lounge does not have showers or a kids room.

The lounge has limited natural lighting.

Paid lounge access is possible with prices from USD 53 (2 hours), USD 106 (4 hours) to USD 159 (6 hours). There are slightly reduced rates for children aged 2-12, with those 0-1 admitted free.

The Marhaba Lounge at Dubai T2 is located opposite gates F3 and F4.

FlyDubai – FlyDubai has a 900m² lounge at Dubai International T2 which can serve 200 guests. The new lounge opened in December 2024 and replaced the previous 2-level lounge.

The lounge features comfortable grey sofa seating, a buffet-bar area serving international food with some a la carte options, nap room, smoking area, prayer room and shower facilities.

Floor-to-ceiling windows give the lounge good natural light and apron views.

Passengers can board directly from the lounge – usually onto a bus as the FlyDubai aircraft are parked on remote stands.

Access is available for FlyDubai business class passengers, Emirates Skyward Platinum and Gold members flying on FlyDubai. Economy passengers on FlyDubai can purchase access for a fee, subject to availability.

Located near gate F1 in Terminal 2 departures, past security.

Assisted Travel Lounge

This is a dedicated space at Dubai Terminal 2 for “People of Determination and travellers with hidden disabilities”. Opened in 2024, it includes wheelchair-friendly areas, noise-reducing seating and calming areas for those with autism and unaccompanied minors.

Emirates Business Class Lounge Dubai T3 Concourse A

EMIRATES – Emirates operates the bulk of its Airbus A380 aircraft from Dubai Terminal 3 Concourse A.

The entire upper floor of the terminals make up the Emirates lounges – with the first class lounge on the 1st level and the business class lounge on the 2nd level. The ground floor consists of duty free shops, restaurants and waiting areas for economy passengers.

The labyrinth like Business Class lounge is rectangular in shape with the arrival reception in the middle. Boarding gates A1-A24 are directly accessible from the lounge – maps and signage will guide you to your gate.

Because the lounge is so large (one of the biggest in the world), it’s probably best to stay in an area closer to your gate!

There is a huge array of seating spread throughout the space from armchairs to recliners.

There are a number of bar and buffet areas which offer lots of options to satisfy international palates. You can have a glass of Moët champagne and there is even an ice cream cart.

Other facilities include business area, children’s play room, newspapers/magazines, cigar bar, shower facilities and prayer room. A Timeless Spa and shoeshine service are available at extra charge.

EMIRATES – The Emirates First Class lounge takes up the entire first floor of the Concourse A terminal. This is the largest of Emirates’ 3 First Class lounges at Dubai.

The lounge is a long rectangular shape with the reception area is in the middle. It offers direct access to boarding gates A1-A24.

Like the business class counterpart upstairs, the first class lounge has a wide array of seating spread throughout the space. There are buffet spreads and a more formal fine dining area with a la carte menu.

Other facilities include business area, nap room, spa treatments, children’s play room, newspapers/magazines, cigar bar, shower facilities and prayer room. There are high-end duty free stores within the lounge.

Emirates First Class lounge access is available to the following:

  • First Class passengers on Emirates
  • Skywards Platinum members (+1 guest +2 children) on Emirates

  • Qantas Chairman’s Lounge/Platinum One/Platinum travelling on Emirates/Qantas on designated routes.

PAIDPPAMEX – Plaza Premium group operates a large 1,260m² lounge at Dubai Terminal 3 (concourse A) with 284 seats. The lounge opened in 2020.

It features comfortable seating, Arabic and international buffet with live cooking station, soft and alcoholic drinks at the AeroBar, smoking lounge, large kids area and free WiFi. There is a ‘honeycomb’ work area and some private booth seats.

There are family rooms and 5 shower suites available – though these are both charged extra for use.

The lounge has glass panels which give some views of the terminal.

The lounge is available to paying passengers (from AED 245 / USD 67 for 3 hours), Priority Pass members and American Express Platinum and Centurion card holders. Note, there is no access for DragonPass members.

The lounge is located on level 4 near gates A2 and A3 – accessible by lift or stairs.

EMIRATES – Emirates has a large Business Class lounge at Concourse B of Dubai terminal 3. The lounge has a long rectangular shape which is hollowed out in the middle giving views of the ground floor below.

It has a capacity for over 1,400 guests and is the busiest of all Emirates lounges at Dubai International. It has a wide array of comfy seating and recliners.

Facilities include international buffet areas, Costa coffee bar, Moet and Chandon champagne lounge, health hub with healthier snacks, business area, children’s play room, newspapers/magazines, smoking area, shower facilities and prayer room. A Timeless Spa and shoeshine service are available at extra charge.

Interspersed with water features, the lounge offers a wide array of seating for over 900 guests, a la carte dining, and international bar and buffet.

Facilities include business centre, Skywards desk, spa treatments, children’s play room, newspapers/magazines, cigar bar, shower facilities and prayer room. There is a store selling premium wines and spirits.

PAIDPPDP – The Ahlan Business lounge is run by the airport’s Dubai International Hotel. This was formerly known as the Cadiz lounge.

The lounge offers comfortable lounge seating with some internal views of the terminal, a cafe-restaurant area with buffet and a la carte options. Areas are partitioned with brick walls and barrels although the edges of the lounge have open, terminal views.

Facilities include a kids area, flight screens, a smoking cubicle, prayer rooms, magazines and digital newspapers, free WiFi, showers and massage chairs. Sleeping rooms and spa treatments are both available at extra charge.

Emirates Business Class Lounge Dubai T3 Concourse C

EMIRATES – Emirates has 3 lounges at Dubai International Concourse C. The main Business Class lounge is located between gates C18 and C20.

The rectangular shaped lounge is 1,308m² and can seat 265 guests.

Ahlan Lounge Dubai T3C

PAIDPPDP – The Ahlan Business lounge is run by the airport’s Dubai International Hotel. This was formerly known as the Gallery lounge.

The lounge offers comfortable lounge seating with some internal views of the terminal, a bar-buffet area decorated with a very large gold-coloured frame.

Facilities include flight screens, a smoking cubicle, prayer room, magazines and digital newspapers, free WiFi, showers and massage chairs.

The lounge is open for paying passengers with online rates stating at USD 50. Walk-in rates are USD 70 (3-4 hours), USD 100 (6 hours), USD 142 (9 hours) and USD 184 (12 hours).

The lounge is also open for Priority Pass and DragonPass members.

The lounge is located upstairs from near gate C13.

Marhaba Lounge Dubai T3C

PAIDPPDP – dnata (Emirates Group) runs 5 airport lounges under the Marhaba brand at Dubai. These are open to any paying passengers.

The compact Marhaba lounge at DXB T3C has 140 seats. It offers international hot/cold buffet, stylish bar with soft drinks, juices, wines and spirits, work tables, smoking area, kids room, free WiFi and magazines. Showers facilities are available for an extra charge.

The lounge has good natural lighting with some aircraft gate views.

Paid lounge access is possible with prices from USD 69 (4 hours) to USD 138 (8 hours). There are slightly reduced rates for children aged 2-12, with those 0-1 admitted free.

The lounge is also open for Priority Pass and DragonPass members.
