British Airways has 2 affiliated credit cards available for BA Executive Club members who reside in the UK. You could use them to maximise your BA Miles earnings and also take advantage of the popular companion ticket bonus.

No Annual Fee
1 BA mile for every £1 spent
1,000 Bonus BA Miles on first spend
Travel Accident "Benefit" of £75,000 when booking public transport and scheduled flights with the card.
Minimum Income £20,000 annually
Spend £20,000 on the card in 12 months and get 1 free Companion Reward Ticket. This can be used with any BA Miles redemption ticket. (You will have to pay any applicable taxes and charges for the flight).

 

British Airways Premium Plus Card
£150 Annual Fee

1.5 BA miles for every £1 spent

3 BA miles if spent on BA flights or BA Holidays
6,000 Bonus BA Miles on first spend
Travel Accident "Benefit" of £250,000 when booking public transport and scheduled flights with the card.
Minimum Income £25,000 annually

Spend £10,000 on the card in 12 months and get a free Companion Reward Ticket with a BA Miles redemption ticket. (taxes and charges are extra).

This is the card of choice used by the BA "pros".

Note, forex charges are 2.73% on purchases.

British Airways normally sends the companion ticket voucher about 2 weeks after the required annual spend has been reached. The voucher has a validity of 12 months (all outbound sectors must be flown by then). To get maximum value from the voucher use it on a long-haul flight in Club or First - you will need to have a decent amount of miles saved - also, the flight must be ex-UK.
