ANA All Business Class Service Tokyo Narita to Mumbai India
ANA (All Nippon Airways) runs an all business class service from Tokyo, Japan to Mumbai in India. The service started in September 2007 with ANA becoming the first Asian airline to operate such a one-class business service. All Nippon Airways utilises a Boeing 737-700ER (Extended Range) fitted with extra fuel tanks. This is similar to Privatair's use of the Boeing Business Jet which is also based on the 737-700. Privatair also uses the BBJ2 (737-800).
The ANA flight was operating daily but is now reduced to a 3x weekly service on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. It is timetabled as follows:

Note, the outward leg needs a 50 minute fuel stopover in Nagasaki. The return leg can be done non-stop due to the prevailing winds on the route. The flight is also codeshared with Jet Airways.
ANA has fitted only 36 ClubANA seats to the Boeing 737 in a 2-2 configuration. (PrivatAir uses 44-56 seats on its services). Seats have a pitch of 61", with width coming in at 20.6". Note, there is no seat back TV screen - passengers are given a hand-held media player with Audio / Video on Demand and noise cancelling headphones.
In terms of the best seating, try the front row 1 (1A/C, 1 H/K) or the exit row 5 (5A/C, 5H/K).
Standard return ticket prices are not cheap coming in at around $5,800, especially since the yen has appreciated considerably. In terms of alternatives Cathay Pacific, Asiana and Thai Air offer cheaper Tokyo-Mumbai business class fares connecting through their hubs.
