Eurofly (IATA Code GJ) operated a 5 times a week service using an Airbus 319CJ fitted out with just 48 business class seats in a 2-2 configuration - similar to that of Privatair's. Seat pitch came in at 58" with a recline of around 170º. On board, each seat had a basic in-flight entertainment screen and the multi-course catering was of a high standard. Lounge access was available at both ends.

The service was welcomed by a core of customers but could not get the yields to stay operational. At the time, Eurofly charged around $2,700 for their Milan - New York flights.

The Eurofly MiMa service joined a host of all business class casualties -

OzJet - Australian all-business service between Sydney and Melbourne which went under in 2006.

MaxJet - Halted all-biz services between London and the USA in 2007.

EOS Airlines - Premium transatlantic all-business carrier stopped services in 2008.

Silverjet - Luton based all-business airline also went bankrupt in 2008.

Eurofly were a scheduled airline who flew economy and business class from New York to Rome, Naples and Palermo. In 2010 they merged with Italian airline Meridiana to form Meridiana Fly (IATA code IG).

The likes of American Airlines, Alitalia, Delta and Continental (United) fly non-stop between Milan and New York. British Airways also has some competitive fares via London on the route.
